Hello, Fed & Fab friends! I’m back from two amazing weeks in Southeast Asia, and I can easily say that it was the best trip I’ve ever taken. We totally lucked out when it came to weather, and the food was absolutely incredible. I definitely gained a few pounds of vacation weight!
I’m still getting back into the groove of things and working on some posts about the trip and about some of the fun makeup and skincare products I picked up while I was over there. Stay tuned for those to come soon! Also, if you haven’t checked out my Instagram, I posted a bunch of photos from the trip.
In the meantime, though, I wanted to share my latest lip gloss obsession with y’all: L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint. Oh. Em. Gee. These are awesome!!!
I picked a couple up on a whim when I visited the flagship store for Morphe Brushes in Burbank. I only recently learned about Morphe, thanks to vlogger and makeup artist Jaclyn Hill (love her!). It’s a super affordable line of brushes and makeup, and after reading/seeing so many good things online, I knew I had to pay them a visit. I’ll talk more about the brushes in a separate post, so watch out for that.
While I was browsing the store, I realized they were also a retailer for L.A. Girl. This is yet another brand that’s constantly raved about by makeup vloggers – but it’s really hard to find in brick and mortar stores! I’ve been lusting after a few of their products for a while (including their Pro Conceal HD Concealer, which rivals Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer in quality for a fraction of the price), and when I saw the L.A. Girl display in the store, I got a little giddy.
I almost passed up these lip glosses, since I have a million already. But when I squeezed out a little sample on my hand and saw how deliciously glossy and pigmented they were, I couldn’t resist. Plus, they were $4… and you guys know how much I love a deal when it comes to makeup.
